Thesis

An open-source thesis (manifesto)

During the compilation of my thesis, that is still in progress, i found some really innovative and illuminating books about online comunication and its sociological impact. The inner idea of this books is that web is becoming the most democratic media and it is developing some new, strong, forms of collaboration between people that are connected only by theirinner interests and passions. I’m talking about as big porjects as wikipedia, the ‘the long tail’ blog, or as smaller as the latest rpg fan wiki site. Is not important the level of the speech, if it’s a professional proect that will lead to astronomical discoveries or big revenues for a gold mining canadian corporation. It coul be just a small proect that sounds interestng for a few people that decide to participate actively: just helping with their experience, to make it better or just to enjoy speaking about a particular argument. That’s why i’ve decided to write a blog about mobile marketing and to insert my thesis in it. A kind of experiment, an effort to develop the knowledge surrounding mobile marketing worldwide.
I hope you found that interesting and reply with some comments and suggestions, or maybe just enjoy the reading.

Post Scriptum: for now the project is a bunch of pages in my mother language, italian, i hope to be able to make a traduction in a short time.

REWIND: a step back

After an official communication by my advisor i’m obligated to remove the thesis from the web. Main reson is because, textually: ‘For security and prudence, It’s better not to publish online anything regarding your thesis before the public discussion, cause it could be turn against you’.

I’m very afraid, but that’s ‘advisor’s opinion’: above all.

Guess what?
